We are no longer in Idaho. We packed our moving truck July 22nd and the 23rd we finished loading up the last of our stuff and completed the rest of the cleaning. We had some awesome help with everything. Thank you to all those that helped!!! That afternoon we drove to a hotel in Boise. This part of the drive was pretty easy Hallie slept most of the way and Berret and I were so relieved not to be packing or cleaning that driving was a break. Our stay at the hotel was fun. We were really close to everything. We got fresh produce to snack on, went out to eat, and picked up a some walkie talkies at Target. In the morning we went swimming at the hotel to tire Hallie out, got cleaned up and ready, and went to eat. Then it was time for Hallie to nap and the drive to begin. The drive started out ok and it helped a lot that Berret and I had the walkie talkies to use (Berret was driving the truck while I had Hallie with me in the Santa Fe). We stopped at a rest stop toward the top of the Blue mountains and after that the drive was awful. On the way down the Blues I got honked at by a semi truck that was driving crazy. A minute after that both lanes were clogged and I was stuck behind some really slow semi trucks and I almost got rear ended because I was in the back of this line of cars and a car came racing around the corner and had trouble stopping soon enough. My nerves were pretty much gone the rest of the trip after this. The last couple of hours didn’t help when the sun was going down shining right in our eyes making it extremely difficult to see, oh and Hallie was awake and not so happy. We decided to stop around Troutdale to eat and let the sun go down. The town was practically shut down though. There was a huge accident with a semi going the opposite direction and roads in the town were closed and people were being put into a detour. It took forever to find somewhere to eat while trying to get around all these road closures. After we had some time to rest and get food in our tummies we were good to finish the last 45 minutes or so. It seems completely silly that we had to stop so close to the end but Hallie and I NEEDED the break. Ok enough whining from me. We are here safely and that’s what is important.
We are excited about our new adventure here. We have most of our boxes unpacked. Two rooms are already painted and we plan on doing the bathroom this weekend. Berret started his new job Monday and is liking it so far. Hallie and I are keeping busy with projects during the day and playing.
(Pictures were taken at Porter Park in Rexburg after a lunch with Warren, Allison, Dani, and Weston. Hallie already misses Dani and gets excited whenever she sees a picture of her.)

What a cute picture of Hallie and Dani.
