trick or treat

We had a fun Halloween with Hallie as a butterfly and Lincoln a spider.  Friday we drove downtown to trick or treat at Berret’s work. On Halloween we went to a trunk or treat that we pretty much missed.  It started at 6 and we waited till Berret got home and were there at 6:30, only 2 cars were left.  We then went to my aunts house and trick or treated at a few houses in her neighborhood.  Since we were late to the trunk or treat Hallie missed her cousins.  We told Hallie would’ve been very disappointed if she didn’t get to see them so we stopped by and played there before going home.

Hallie loved the pumpkins at Donna’s house.

Hallie really started to get into trick or treating and got enough candy that she complained of her bag being heavy.  Look at her though, she is so focused on getting more candy.

Then it was time to play with cousins!

This picture below is funny to me because Berret and Lincoln have the same expression on their faces.

Hallie was so proud of the butterfly on her bum.  She loves when there is stuff on her tights, remember her elf outfit?  Look at little Lincoln in his car seat.  It was kind of confusing knowing where to put the extra legs  but I got pretty good at it after having to do it so many times.

Jill made the dress for Hallie’s costume and Jill had the wings from a sale at fabric depot a long time ago.  Her tights are Old Navy and her antennas are pipe cleaners in her pigtails.  I made Lincolns costume by just making a black fleece sleeper, adding extra legs, and making a little hat with eyes and fangs.
