july 6 months

This post is quite late, Hallie is now 6 months and 3 weeks old now. These pictures were taken the night before we left for our trip. It was apparently a little late for to be photographed because she was tired enough we couldn't really get pictures without those fingers. For Hallie's 6 months stats and skills - weight 15.9 pounds (37 percentile) height 26 inches (48 percentile). Skills Hallie had a 6 months included - rolling all over the place * sitting up very steady and for longer periods of time * beginning to get up on all fours and rocking * tryed to crawl forward but made more progress backward instead * discovered how to blow rasberries and play with her tongue more and stick it out. Hallie is so much fun and has lots of curiosity in her and can be quite wild at times.Hallie has been growing like crazy it feels like. On the trip where we were gone for almost 3 weeks she grew out of alot of the clothes I packed for her. She also was learning how to do lots of new things while we were away from home. On the trip she was doing tons of rocking on all fours. She learned to move forward with an army crawl that has gotten even faster since being home. On the trip she also was able to sit her self up in a pack and play with the assistance of the walls. She now sits her self up with out any kind of assistance on a regular basis. She is starting to get her hands figured out to do a crawl on all fours. She can get around all over the apartment, while Berret and I and eating dinner we will set her in the living room to play and she will end up underneath the table playing with our feet while we eat. She is now doing tons better eating rice cereal. After discovering her tongue she started making lots of new noises like dadadadadadada.

How fun -- you are going to have so much fun especially now that you can achieve your own routine for Hallie and yourselves. Do not think we did not appreciate your sacrifice -- and we know it was -- to come see us -- it was magnificent. Love --

I love the pic with her little fingers in her mouth. Um.. So Charlotte was 15lbs 10oz and 25 inches at her 4 month visit!!!! That is crazy that they are pretty much the same. Well Charlotte is in the 85% and 90% catagory. That is so funny. She sounds so active and I can not wait to see video of all her new skills.
