rest of the portland trip

Berret got into to Portland Saturday morning. I was really sick with back pain and throwing up and such and it was soooo nice to have him back and he was so nice to take care of me. Hallie was pretty excited to have her daddy back too. Later that day we had a little get together with my aunts and uncles.Here we are with my aunts and uncles. Funny story...Phillip had to go to work Saturday night and on his was to work a kid threw up on him in the max train or tri-met bus-I'm sure which. Therefore Mike and Sam went to go pick him up and that why they aren't in this picture. So gross but it really kind of worked out because it made so Phillip could be with all of us Saturday night after I started to feel better. Computers...Hallie definately has some Garlick in her. Hallie with the laptop that is just her size.Hallie sure liked my brothers...the feeling was mutual I think.Phillip is even smiling in this picture!!!Sunday we got to spend some more time with Berret's family and have fun playing around.Monday Berret and I went out with the Forts and Berret got his Truffle Hunter fill. After Truffle Hunter Berret and I went to Ikea to just walk around in the AC and just be together. Oh and we were baby free this night because Jill and Wes watch Hallie for us. We also got to borrow the mustang and drive with the top down...it was a beautiful night.Then we were off to Idaho again.Don't let this picture fool you...Hallie does not like long drives. She did great though even though she was sick.

We had lots of fun in Portland and Washington but it was really nice to go home and work on getting a routine again. Hallie and I also learned that we don't want to go with out Berret that long again. We're excited for our nixt trip out there to visit during Thanksgiving.
