Last Tuesday Berret took Hallie and me out to dinner. I have been getting stir crazy since all the holidays are over and sick of being inside. We rarely got out to restaurants anymore, especially with Hallie. Red Robin does a couple of special things on kid’s night though. Just getting there Hallie threw a huge fit, tore off her boot in the car and we almost just went back home. I didn’t want to go back home so we braved it out. We walked in carrying Hallie and she was clutching her blanket and baby (we don’t usually let her take baby and blanket in places) while she had a face full of tears. We got seated in a corner, I’m sure to keep us from disturbing everyone else with an upset toddler. It was awesome though not have a bunch of people around us. Hallie cheered up quick. She loved her balloon and seeing the Red Robin bird come around. She kept showing the bird how cool her balloon was and what she was eating at the time. She especially loved the free sundae they give to kids. Berret and I just loved getting out and not having to cook and clean up.
After dinner Hallie got to get her face painted. She loved it and sat so still! I have some pictures we took when we got home and you can see her face painting better. I’ll hopefully post those soon.
While getting the pictures off of Berret’s phone I noticed these pictures from the summer. We went on jog and had dinner at Red Robin and that’s how we found out about kids night. I really miss jogging outside, I can’t wait till summer.

You have a very thoughtful husband -- taking you out to dinner even after Hallie gets a little miffed-- Good show and great thing to do with your wife.
Looks like you had an amazing time once you got there -- I suspect those times are going to be more frequent -- they will be worth it when you persevere.
Amazing pictures of people I love and miss greatly. Have a good time and continue having a great time as a family.
