A while ago we switched Hallie to a twin bed. She has been doing great with it. She loves being able play after her nap. Sometime I’ll hear that she us up and go check on her and she wants me to go away because she is busy playing and making a huge mess. When she is ready to come out she knocks on the door. She can open doors now but wait until we either open the door for her or she hears us tell her to come out.
There are the occasional days though where she absolutely doesn’t want to nap. After I’ve tried everything to get her to nap and nothing works I turn on a movie for her and she is out within a couple of minutes. I think some of these bad nap days are due to the 4 teeth she has coming in.
Hallie isn’t actually sleeping in these last ones, just pretending. Berret on the other hand was sleeping. Hallie took good care of him and made sure he had a blanket and lots of stuff to cuddle with.

It is amazing to me Hallie felt he needed so many things to cuddle for his rest to be successful!
