what a rough life

I didn’t babysit today so we did a few things different.  Hallie got up early enough to see Berret leave.  I think she gets up as soon as possible some mornings just to see Berret even though she is still tired and not ready to function.  Today she was pretty tired after she got up so she relaxed to Nemo on our bed while she ate her toast.  Hallie doesn’t usually get to watch stuff in there since Ashlynne sleeps in the room.  This picture below cracks me up with how her legs are crossed.  She must have it rough and just has to let go and relax once in awhile Winking smilehahaha.

Later in the day while Hallie napped I got to work on a little sewing project repurposing an old sweater(more on that in another post).   Hallie got up from her nap before I finished.  I showed her what I was doing and she thought it was so cool.  I got her a chair to sit and watch and she just loved it.  We sang made up songs and she ate hop hops while I sewed.  I really love the stage Hallie is in right now.  She is so interested in everything but she listens still.  She didn’t go crazy grabbing things while I sewed.  I explained stuff to her and what was and wasn’t ok to touch and she obeyed.  She is such a good girl, I am very lucky.

When Berret got home something really special happened.  It was nice enough to jog to the park!  It was so nice to breathe fresh air and run free instead being stuck on a treadmill in the stuffy gym.  Hallie really enjoyed the park, she needed to get out and just run around.  She has grown a lot since the last time we went to the park; she now uses steps upright without grabbing the rails.

You are correct -- the smile is worth taking a closer look at!

I am so glad Hallie is good while you are sewing -- I was not able to do that while you kids were young -- great job with your daughter!

It is so nice to hear and see you
